We had a wonderful day at Machu Picchu and enjoyed the rest of the trek as well. We got back into Cusco quite late so we plan on some needed shut eye and will update the blog tomorrow. Also of note, my (Brooke's) phone has been on the fritz the past few days so I may not be receiving certain text messages. Still available by email though!
Can't recommend Machu Picchu enough. Truly great day.
